15th March We took up the responsibility of launching a joint EFT Switch

We hosted a seminar and invited all the commercial banks operating in South Sudan. This was an opportunity to discuss and share the advantages of operating a joint EFT in the country. This also allowed us to understand the expectations and address the apprehensions of the participants.

Hon. John Dor, the Deputy Governor of South Sudan also participated in the discussions. He welcomed the ideas and encouraged the developments. This prompted us to take up the responsibility of launching a joint switch in South Sudan.

3rd March 2014 South Sudan’s First Joint Switch Went LIVE
